Da Lat is situated on a plateau in Central Highlands. It is the biggest city in the Highland. It has a population of about two hundred thousand people. It is one of the famous tourist cities in Vietnam. Da Lat was founded by the French colonists in 1897 after the site had been discovered by Dr Alexandre Ycrsin. It is famous for its beautiful sights and cool climate. The best thing you can find in Da Lat is its temperate weather and the peace and quiet atmosphere on the pine hills or by impressive waterfalls.
